History
Also known as “Cavapoo”, this is a crossbreed between the Poodle and the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
Cavoodles are all the rage in Australia, where they first originated in Australia in the late 1990s. These dogs were particularly conceived to be low maintenance and to boast a really nice temperament.
They are in fact popular for their low or non-shedding coats, as well as their affinity with young kids.

Cavoodle Temperament & Size
These are small dogs, which makes them perfect as home canines.
They are sought-after for their temperament and for their ability to relate well to children or other small household pets. They can become very attached to their owners, and often prefer the company of humans to that of other dogs.
Cavoodle Life Span & Health Problems
Cavoodles have an average lifespan of 13 to 15 years.
They might be prone to heart disease.
They might experience progressive retinal atrophy, causing blindness.
