Peanut Butter and Apple Pupcakes!
Mmmm! What a delicious treat for dogs of all shapes and sizes!
This will give you 30 muffins, but you could also make a cake – just remember portion control!
Pupcake Ingredients
¼ cup of unsweetened apple sauce
3 cups of water
¼ teaspoon of vanilla
1 beaten egg
3 tablespoons of honey
4 cups of wholewheat flour
1 tablespoon of baking powder
¾ cup of chopped apple
Frosting Ingredients
½ cup of natural peanut butter
¼ cup of small dry dog treats
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°.
- Lightly grease enough muffin tins for 30 pupcakes, or cook in batches.
- In a bowl, combine the apple sauce, water, vanilla, egg, and honey.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, and baking powder.
- Slowly add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
- And then stir in the chopped apple.
- Pour your pupcake mix into your lightly greased muffin tins and bake for about 30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean.
- When the pupcakes are cooked, cool them on a wire rack.
- Once the pupcakes are cooled you can frost them with peanut butter and decorate them with dry kibble.
